Many people believe that media coverage of celebrities is having a negative effect on children. To what extent do you agree? It is believed that the tv or other media resources can negatively impact on the youngster’s development could be in case of famous people will be on the air. In my point of view, this tendency could have harm effect because in the most cases media try to popularize the glamourous life and provides examples of antisocial behavior there. Firstly, the luxury life of celebrities may not the good example for the next generation. A reason of this can be rich lifestyle showing on the mass media which can follow to the jealous and low self-esteem. As a consequence, kids who try to imitate their idols can tend to be unhappy their current life, their family. Sometimes it could lead to depression, because it is hard to achieve the same level of live as a celebrity. Secondly, in many cases the media lightening the extraordinary situation regarding the famous people, such as booze or naughty parties. This role model could be tract by kids as an example, which lead to particular problems with their community. For instance, according to statistic, 30 percent of teens have tendency to copy behavior of their heroes, it means that they can be in trouble if celebrity will be breaking the law. To sum up, the media resources showing the famous people can impact wrong way for new generation, especially highlighting the rich life and uncommon behavior. In my opinion, I totally agree with harm effects which this tendency could lead to misperceptions of real life and provide wrong examples for future.
