I think Chinese and Japanese are similar languages. When I l studied Chinese, I found some kanji are the same. Having said that, pronounce are entirely different. However, we have similar cultures. For example Chinese cousins often use soy sauces. So does Japanese cosine. To summarize, learning Chinese has a lot of fun. I want to speak fluent, wishful thinking, I guess.

Hi Sayuri, I can help you improve your English and Chinese. We can work towards fluency so it is no longer wishful thinking but a reality :) Please check out my profile and let me know what you think. I have some available slots this week if you're interested :)

Good work. The word “cuisine” is a French word used in English to talk about cooking styles. All the best on your Chinese learning journey.
