Do you study languages by using some automated systems?

How do you study languages (especially English)? Do you use automated systems (internet sites, mobile apps etc.), which can help you to study? I don’t mean sites which help you to find a tutor, pen pal, or friends (like this one). But I’m talking about sites like memrise.com, lingualeo.ru, livemocha.com etc, automated courses and exercises with elements of gamification. The main trait of these systems which I’m talking about should be low price. Or they can even be free (because all is automated).

If you use some of these services answer please. And tell us about what do you like about these sites/apps and what you don’t? What problems you encounter during your study. May be there is something missing in their functionality that you’d like to have.

I use a mobile APP to help me to improve my English speaking.

I have used it for about a week.

Though it shared many speechs from the English speaking country.Or movie's conversation .

There is no native speaker on line you can communicate with.

By this APP,I can read English articles, listen the speechs, but can not communicate with people who speak English well.

But it is a free APP.

All right, ill give you some examples of what I mean. These are such sites like:

Busuu.com, Livemocha.com, Duolingo.com, Memrise.com

And only for russian speaking people: Lingualeo.ru, puzzle-english.com

The most useful tool I adopted on internet to learn English is online oxford dictionary. There is nothing more important than you have to discover a dictionary to check while you are confronted with difficulties in English expression.
