Hola amigos, thought I would start this discussion post so I could get Spanish slang sayings to use when I travel through Spain and South American. If you would like to post your favourite everyday spanish slang thatd be great. Ill even give you some Australian ones which there are many. Eg. G'day mate - hello friend (Australi)

Btw, "wey" and "no mames", are veeery informal, so use them only with friends.
"Chela" and "chido", are informal, but not that informal.

Here in Mexico is usual tu call your friend "wey", it's like a "dude".
"Chido", like "cool".
"No mames", like "no kidding".
"Chela", like "beer".
Some more Australian slang can include:
Cobber - friend
No worries - no problem
bloke - male
sheila - female
fair dinkum - honest, telling the truth
Está de más = It is very nice!
esto lo decimos muy seguido en Uruguay
