Hi! I'm from Russia. I pay 450 russian roubles in month for 3,5 Gb data (unlimitted speed), 500 minutes call and 500 sms.
In Russia we don't use voicemail, usually we use whatsapp, viber etc.
Around $5 for a cell phone plan...seriously? Mine is close to $100 US dollars.

I've never heard of Viber and haven't heard of any one using it. I've heard of some kids here using whatsapp to text their friends.

Why is it so cheap in Russia? in the US, some people get a text only cell phone because they can't afford to sign up for a monthly service.
