PTE Academic is easier than the IELTS?
Why do people tend to get a higher mark in the PTE exam? It seems getting a 79 or above in the PTE writing is comparatively easier than getting an 8 (equivalent to 79) in the IELTS writing. Do you think a computer-based test, marked by robots is fairer or less fair than a paper-based one, marked by humans?

From my experience, yes. GMAT Writing is marked by a computer system, and I always get the full mark. I guess the system contains algorithm of logical construction.
