My English is not very good , I’m working on it and I hope it doesn't affect your understanding. In Chinese, sentence construction is mainly based on the natural development process of events. Because of the rule of natural sequence, Chinese does not have strict rules and order in sentence structure like English, but constructs sentence patterns according to "needs". That is to say, Chinese sentences are built on the main idea axis, emphasizing meaning, not emphasizing the structure of sentences. Many sentences may not have subject, or the subject of other sentences is not obvious, but the meaning is certain. In contrast, English sentences are constructed on a specific form of the main axis, so there are many rules in English, and most of them need subject and predicate. In a little more detail, the subject of English has the formal subject it. Put the real subject behind it. English predicates must use verbs, and there are changes in person, number, tense and voice. Chinese predicates may use other words. Like “我很忙”,English can't be translated into I very busy. “我在教室” /他的健康不好,English can't be translated into we in the classroom or His health not good. Another important point is that most adverbials in modern Chinese precede verbs, such as 1.他“小心地”开车。2.我“每天六点半”起床。3.孩子们上周末“在公园里快乐地”玩耍or last weekend can also refer to the beginning of sentences, not at the end of the sentence. The above three sentences should be in English like :1.He drives “carefully”. 2.I get up “at 6:30 every day”. 3.The children played “happily in the park”last weekend or last weekendthe children played “happily in the park”. Hope my reply can help you.
