Dear Lee, it is really interesting to learn the story of this festival. Some yummy Chinese food in China has many special meanings. The Dragon Boat Festival has different names- Duanyang Festival, Tianzhong Festival, Yulan Festival, Duanwu Festival and Daughter's Day, but I don't know it has been called as daughter's day.
