Have you ever greeted someone other than shaking hand and saying "Hello, how're you doing?"?
I was just searching for the meaning of a Farsi word, "Shekamo" but google showed me something else.
It showed a word called "Shikamo" which is a Swahili word for greeting. Curiosity kicked in and I just scrolled down and found that in Swahili language, there are different greetings:
Hujambo-- "Hello"
Habari-- Hello or Good Morning. Used while speaking with older people.
Nzuri-- Beautiful, good or I am fine
Shikamo-- Literal meaning is "I hold your feet"; a greeting for elders
Well I know google can be dumb sometime but it teaches something interesting everytime it gets dumb!:D
Anything interesting you would like to share?
BTW, Shekamo in Farsi means Foodie. I am a Shekamo!:D
Have a great day everyone!:)
