what's the best way to memorize hanzi?
i often have problem with memorizing hanzi, hjxhjx. maybe cuz i've already learnt 2 language before chinese. i often forgot chinese character which i've learnt. and sometime, i can recognize one letter but can't figure out how to write it? huhu

First I assume you already have learned the BuShou or the radicals which make up the words. If you look at a word, close your eyes and write it in your mind, you are well on your way to learning it. As an aside, my handwriting is so bad in English that I don't even bother writing in Chinese. If I can type them out on a word processor, that would be good enough for me. I predict Chinese kids will begin to become more dependent on word processors analogously to American kids who already spell much more poorly than a generation before.
