Today, I was very fortunate to learn about the city of Brasilia in Brazil. It was interesting to note that the modern buildings and structures that I was looking at in the photographs of Brasilia reminded me of the current plans and waterfront development happening my own city. Never was there a clearer example of my student's great phrase, "nothing is really ever invented, it is copied". Do you have examples of this idea from your city as it has changed or developed? Let's share our cities, towns and villages with each other! How much do we have in common?

Hi! How much do we have in common?
I live far away, far away from Moscow, far away from the warm sea, and probably far away from you.
Now a spring has arrived , but only on the calendar.
All around, there is blindingly bright snow.
But it's no longer cold. The sun has returned after a long polar night.
It makes the days warmer, bit by bit by bit.
The icicle melts and drips, drips, drips.
