구미호(九尾狐) means "아홉 개의 꼬리를 가진 여우(The fox having nine tails)".

I don't know about gumiho stories's origin but I can say gumiho is woman have nine tails, very shrewd, always find way to attract men, they are pretty and sexy too, they are also very wicked..
