It's not discrimination. European languages have two suffixes, that's all. Notice that the French and Portugues (for example) use the " -ese" ending to refer to themselves -- "français," "português." Likewise, "Hollansk," "Dansk," "Svensk," all use the " -nsk" ending which is etymologically the same as the English "-ese." Likewise the Slavic languages with " -ski." Come to think of it, the " -ish" ending in "English" is also cognate. (Proto European "-i(n)sko")
