I prefer British English. I am that much used to British English, I think Americans talk funny. I am from the Netherlands, and the UK is quite close. We listen to the BBC, we trade a lot with the UK. A few days ago I was listening to Radio 4, and there was an American woman with a very strong accent being interviewed, and I switched the channel. I just hurts my ears. Sorry, no offence.
Australian, no doubt! :P
Then the kiwi accent comes next!
American accents are very diverse. British accents can be diverse too.
Hi Thaddeus, can you name a few people as examples?
@Chris: Some Americans speak with a more refined, musical tone of voice... :)
