The verb "Déménager" could have two meanings :

1 - Changer de domicile - Ex :Je déménagerai à paris --> I will move to Paris to live there

2 - Transporter quelque chose d'un lieu à un autre - Ex: Je déménage mes meubles dans ma nouvelle maison à Paris  --> I move my fourniture into my new house in Paris.  

The verb "Déplacer" has only one meaning: Move something into a new place

Ex: Je veux déplacer cette table de sa place --> I want to move this table into another location

As it is explain above : "Déménager" could have the meaning of "Déplacer" but not always.
