Eu não pratico o idioma português há alguns meses. Por isso, minha fala/pronúncia não é boa. Então, eu quero praticar mais para melhorar. Eu não acho que estou praticando bem todos os dias. Preciso praticar mais vezes. Obrigado.

Hey Jake!
This is a very common issue among language learners! Nowadays we all have a lot to do, so it can be tough to really invest a lot of time to learn your target language.
I have two tips to help you with your practice, though:
- Consistency is better than sheer volume: try to practice as little as 15 minutes every day instead of sitting down for a whole hour and try to study all at once. This will make it easier for you to complete your “daily studying goals” and will keep you motivated. Besides, if you do it consistently, over the months you realize that you have achieved amazing results!
- Try making your learning a part of your “normal” day to day activities. You can listen to music, podcasts, videos, etc. while doing “automatic” tasks, such as doing the dishes or cleaning the house. You can also start doing things you already do for fun, but in Portuguese, like watching Netflix and listening to Portuguese music! There are also a few profiles on Instagram (such as mine) that will give you little hints every now and then! Use your creativity here ;)
And a little bonus hint: if you can find a cheap tutor here on italki, you can book 30 minute lessons every week so you “pressure yourself” to study every week lol you can probably find lessons like that for $4 or so, which would amount to $20 a month, tops!
