Throughout the movie, even though he was wrongfully convicted, Andy never lost his hope of freedom. He knew he was innocent. His powerful heart compelled him to tunnel through the prison walls. In the end, he came back to life successfully. This movie taught me to never lose hope. In life, everyone will meet with troubles big and small. But a willing heart full of hope will always help us through. Stephen King once wrote, "Some birds and not meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up in the first place rejoices." So it was with Andy. And I hope I can be a bright bird, too. This is the second time I've seen this movie and it affected me more this time. I gained a deeper understanding of freedom, hope, and friendship. I felt differently watching it this time than last time,I got a deeper understanding of freedom, hope and friendship. I hope the next time I watch it I will learn more out of it. Sorry I edited like this. Happy learning

When they eventually escape you rejoice because you know that caging them was not a good thing to be done. I hope I can also be a bright bird just like Andy. It was my second time watching this movie

His powerful heart made him to keep excavating the wall, in the end he came out successfully. This movie taught me to never lose hope even when I'm in trouble or upset. It's a no doubt that everyone will come across trouble either big or small, but a willing heart that is full of hope will always help us to get through trouble. Some birds are not meant to be caged. Before I watched this fantastic movie I could not believe how someone could stay in prison for 19 years but still not lose hope. As the movie said hope is the good thing maybe the best of things. Good things never die. There is no doubt that all of us need hope to keep going. In the movie Andy never lost hope towards his freedom which is extravagant to prisoners. He firmly believed in his innocence.
