Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and it is considered one of the most beautiful place in the Europe. It's not a case if people from all over the world travels there only to see it. In fact, you can easily find Dutch, French, Danish, English, Russian and even Norwegian there.
It is also called "Benaco", which was its Latin name. There are many characteristic cities that overlook its shores, such as Desenzano, Sirmione, Limone sul Garda, Toscolano, Lazise, Malcesine, Tremosine and Riva del Garda. If you like the lake atmosphere I invite you to search for some photos, because each of these cities is magical in its own way.
Lake Garda is one the typical excellenices of Italy, but unlike other tourist destinations, it is situated between Lombardy and Veneto, the two most productive regions of the country. In fact, within 30 km there are Verona and Brescia, two of the most polluted cities in Italy. This emphasizes the peculiarity of Italy.
