resume of book titled "Danur"
Danur is water that comes from dead bodies. It smells very bad or rancid. It is about the experience of writer named Risa Saraswati, who also works as a singer and blogger. She has a greater ability than the other humans. She can communicate with ghosts. In her childhood, precisely at age of eleven years, she lived with her grandmother in Bandung. She had some ghosts best friend, they are Peter, William, Hans, Hendrick, and Janshen. They are the ghosts of the Dutch that killed by Japanese soldier. She shared her experience with them, she felt very happy because they always can make her smile. They also have life and their own story, sometimes fun and sometimes sad. She met so much ghosts in her life. One day she felt very disturbed, and then she pretended to not see, not hear, and ignore them. Although it was difficult, but she got through after a dozen years. Now, danur that smells bad was changed as an aromatherapy. She opened her eyes to listen their stories again. From their stories, we can take the experience.
