Fathers and sons by Ivan Turgenev
-Don’t you see them yet? – asking in the 20th may, 1859, leaving without a hat on low porch of the Inn on *** road, landowner in hid early forties, in dusted coat and plaid pants, a his servant, young, with big cheeks, guy, with white fluff on his chin and little dim eyes.
Servant, in which there was all: turquoise earrings, pomaded multicolored hairs, courtesy gestures, in one word, all shows the contemporary person, new improved generation, looked indulgently along the road and answer: “No, sir, can not see”
-Can not see? – repeated landowner.
-Can not see, - second time answer servant.
Landowner sighs and sits down on the bench. Let’s get acquainted him with reader, while he is sitting.
This is my pathetic try of translate the Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev, I did that with help of Google translate, because a lot of the words are rare. As appears this is really hard to translate that kind of stuff, I thought though that I have a big vocabulary, well I thought wrong!
