Self-talk I found a lot of people language learner are just satisfied with getting involved of learning activities. For instance, some are just so happy to enroll a language course or take lessons, but never practice or review what you learned later. I believe most of studies, any kind of studies, require a lot of self-studies which are out of classes or courses. So I talk myself to practice speaking.I might sound a odd if someone caught me practice speaking on sidewalks, but I guess this would help to improve your speaking. So if you find somebody talk to themselves on streets, sidewalks or anywhere, you might think they are just practicing languages!

Hello, Asako. Very good. I have changed a few things to make your article read better. I think you are learning American English. In English, we say 'enrol', whereas American English uses 'enroll'. WE add another 'l' for the past tense so would say 'enrolled'. American English also uses 'practice' as a verb and a noun. In UK English the verb is always 'practise' and the noun is 'practice'. Also, we do not say 'sidewalk' we say 'pavement' I agree with what you say concerning language learning and was amused with your final comments.

Self-talk

I HAVE found a lot of people WHO ARE LEARNING LANGUAGES (language learner) are just satisfied with getting involved IN THE (of) learning activities. For instance, some are just so happy to ENROL ON (enroll) a language course or take lessons, but never practice or review what THEY HAVE (you) learned later. I believe most (of) studies, indeed any kind of study (studies), requires a lot of SELF-STUDY (self-studies) OUTSIDE OF THE CLASS OR COURSE (which are out of classes or courses).
So, I TAUGHT (talk) myself to PRACTISE (practice) speaking. I might sound a LITTLE odd if someone caught me PRACTISING (practice) speaking on THE PAVEMENT (sidewalks), but I guess this would help to improve MY (your) speaking. So, if you find somebody WHO IS TALKING (talk) to themselves on A street, PAVEMENT (sidewalks) or anywhere, you might think they are just PRACTISING (practicing) languages!

I did it the same when I was alone talking with myself, practicing what vocabularies I learned. It was not easy to find a partner to practice it, and it was a good way to improve the language. When I told with my colleagues from USA, I was surprised that I did not have fear to speak.
