My home town I live in a beautiful city in the Southeast of Spain, its name is Alicante. It is a city located on the coast, so it has beautiful golden sandy beaches with crystal clear water. The weather is great most of the year, very sunny, with mild and short winters. This is one of the main reasons why many people choose this area to live in. In addition, the local cuisine is spectacular. In fact, the most typical Spanish dish "paella" is originally from this area. We also have excellent wines, fruits and vegetables. I can't forget the delicious sweets like "turrón" which is eaten at Christmas. There is too much to discover in Alicante, has a rich heritage and history that is worth knowing. From tomorrow until June 24th we held the famous "Bonfires of San Juan" so I'm happy about it!

My home town  Hometown

I live in a beautiful city in the Southeast of Spain Its name is Alicante. (OR;  ...of Spain called / named Alicante).  It is a city located on the coast, so it has beautiful golden sandy beaches with crystal clear water.
The weather is great most of the year, very sunny, with mild and short winters. This is one of the main reasons why many people choose this area to live in.
In addition, the local cuisine is spectacular. In fact, the most typical Spanish dish, "paella," is originally from this area. We also have excellent wines, fruits and vegetables. I can't forget the delicious sweets like "turrón," which is eaten at Christmas.
There is too much* to discover in Alicante because it** has a rich heritage and history that is worth knowing.
From tomorrow until June 24th we held hold / will hold the famous "Bonfires of San Juan," so I'm happy about it! (Perhaps "and I'm happy about that" is a bit more logical).

*too much is usually negative "There is too much to discover in just a weekend. You can't see it all."  OR you can say there is SO MUCH to discover = really a lot to discoer

**this is one way to connect the two parts.  Or you can put it in front of has.

In any case, these are just small things.  I really enjoyed reading this.  It sounds like a magical place.  Enjoy the Bonfires of San Juan celebrations!
