I find a very interesting problem, that is "do foreigers eat melon seeds? or only chinese love to eat melon seeds?".
if watch carefully, u shall find that chinese like to crack open melon seeds when they chat.
this scene happens a lot in chinese movies and tv series.
and we have many different flavors for choosing.
but i've never saw anyone eating melon seeds in amercian movies, or korean movies.
is this funny?
i wonder do foreigners eat melon seeds, or they just don't like melon seeds at all?

我发现一个很好玩的问题，I discovered a very interesting question,

那就是，That is,

外国人吃瓜子吗？Do other people eat watermelon seeds?

还是只有中国人才爱吃瓜子？ Or is it that only Chinese love to eat them?

如果你细心观察的话，If you were to observe carefully,

就会发现中国人闲聊的时候，Chinese in their leisure

喜欢嗑瓜子。 loves to crack them.

在中国的电影、电视剧中，这个场景经常出现。 You can see them doing this often in Chinese movies, serials.

而且我们有不同口味的瓜子可供挑选。 Also we have different flavours to choose from.

但是在美国电影和韩国电影中，我从未发现有人吃瓜子。 However in American or Korean movies, I have never seen them cracking the seeds.
是不是很好玩？ Isn't this a great pastime?
我很好奇外国人吃瓜子吗？I wonder if foreigners eat watermelon seeds?

还是他们压根就不喜欢瓜子？Or is it they just simply don't like them?

Asian and Middle Eastern cultures love them.  As for those Asian cultures not eating them because they feel that it is an inelegant way of eating.  Eating watermelon seeds is simply not a western culture.  Eating sunflower seeds is only a recent phenomena because of the hype about vitamin E.
