An Introduction of the city Xuancheng, CHINA
Now, let me introduce a city in eastern China, Xuancheng(宣城), which is located in the northeast of Anhui province and next to Nanjing and Hangzhou. Perhaps the city has not been well-known, but you would know Xuan paper, which is mostly used for Chinese arts nowadays, if you love Chinese culture. The Four Treasures of the Study in China are ink brush, ink, ink stone and paper. If you love these cultural treasures, you can get it everywhere in Xuancheng. Because of the cultural significance of Xuan paper, the city's name never changed. When I was very young, I had to learn the geography and history about this city, and also I learned a bit of calligraphy and Chinese painting using ink brush. I guess you would be very interested in the cultures of this city which I love so much. By the way, let me talk about my hometown Taohuatan, a town in the south of Xuancheng, which is a tourist attraction. If you love beautiful sceneries, I will upload some pictures.
