I Am So Scared of Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms

It is raining hard today, even  at this very hour while I am typing this. This is not the first time I have written wrote something while it is raining. Actually it is my way on surviving rainy days like this. I am very afraid of the sound of strong rains, not to mention that it is accompanied by loud thunders and blinding lightnings. I am so scared. I have had a very traumatic experience with storms y days. When I was a kid, a storm hit our land and some of the windows of my grandmother's house almost fell on me. That was one of my scariest moments. I wish the rain would stop soon.
