My One Day (Correction 1)

Shanghai is currently in the height of its summer. It is currently the height of summer in Shanghai.
It was very hot today. I stayed at home the whole day. I studied English for a half the day and took a nap for one hour. Whilst I was taking a nap, I was boiling had left a pot of water on the stove.
So you can imagine that, when I got up, the water had evaporated and the pot was dry.
Luckily, nothing terrible happened. Now it's getting dark outside, I have to think about what I want for dinner. My refrigerator is empty. Maybe I should go to buy some vegetables and meat not only for dinner, but also for the rest of my meals in the next three days.
Besides, the weather is cold now due to the raining this afternoon.
That sounds a good idea.
So I am leaving now.

My refrigerator is empty - maybe I should go to buy some vegetables and meat/supplies, not only/just for dinner, but also for the rest of my meals in the next three days.
