A teacher’s ability to relate well with students is more important than excellent knowledge ? To begin with this topic, both skills are really important . Indeed , if your teacher doesn't know the subject he is teaching , how can he teach someone even a single thing , or if he is so bad at communicating that he can't even speak normally and be logic , then he is for sure a really bad teacher and his students are in big troubles to succeed in the subject he teaches. Though I will only consider the case of "normal" teachers that know their subjects and can relate pretty well with other people. In the first part, I will take the case of student's of my kind . We would rather say that the ability to relate and to make things interesting and clear is the most important one . But this skill is really hard to get. You have to be maybe a good storyteller to captivate your auditory, to know how to behave with students , use the KISS (keep it simple and stupid) methodology, which is to my mind the best one , and finally be able to adapt to everyone by teaching specific methods to each students . I think the fact that a teacher can make is subject interesting and sound easy to understand is more import than being the best in the subject , because finally you just nearly don't care about this, what matter still his ability to brought you the basics to be able to introduce you to the methodology and the concepts . But for some other folks its the opposite . They are more confident and trustful toward the teacher if he is one among the best in is the subject , and that really help them cause what they need is mainly that he bring his students a lot of information about the subject, and feel that their teacher really know his subject . I have many friends thinking this way . But they have abilities that not anybody have, the ability to learn by heart without understanding . They need a lot of "data" of the subject and they can do the decomposition and understanding alone . I conclude this topic by saying that it depends only on the type of people the teacher is teaching is subject . But for my case the teacher ability to relate with students is way more important that being excellent in his subject, to me teaching don't require to be good in the subject, it's how can you explain something in a way your auditory can understand.

Is a teacher’s ability to relate well with students is more important than excellent knowledge?

To begin with this topic, both skills are really important. Indeed, if your teacher doesn't know the subject he is teaching, how can he teach someone even a single thing? Or if he is so bad at communicating that he can't even speak normally and be logical, then he is for sure a really bad teacher, and his students are in big troubles if they wish to succeed in the subject he teaches. Though I will only consider the case of "normal" teachers that who know their subjects and can relate pretty well with other people.

In the first part, I will take the case of student's students like me of my kind. We would rather say that the ability to relate and to make things interesting and clear is are the most important ones, but this skill is really hard to get. You have to be maybe a good storyteller to captivate your auditory audience, to know how to behave with students, use the KISS (keep it simple and stupid) methodology, which is to in my mind, the best one, and finally, be able to adapt to everyone by teaching specific methods to each student students. I think the fact that a teacher can make is a subject interesting and sound easy to understand is more import than being the best in the subject, because, finally, you just nearly don't care about this (not sure I understand what you mean by this). What matters, still, is his ability to brought bring you the basics and to be able to introduce you to the methodology and the concepts .

But For some other folks, its it is the opposite. They are more confident and trustful toward the teacher if he is one among one of the best in is the subject, and that really helps them because what they need is mainly that he brings his students a lot of information about the subject, and that they feel that their teacher really knows his subject. I have many friends thinking who think this way. But However, they have abilities that not anybody have, everyone has: the ability to learn by heart, without understanding. They need a lot of "data" of the subject, and they can do the decomposition and understanding alone. (not sure if this sentence is clear.)

I conclude this topic by saying that it depends only on the type of people the teacher is teaching is subject . But For my case, the teacher's ability to relate with students is way more important than that being excellent in his subject. To me, teaching doesn't don't require one to be good in at the subject;, it's how can you explain something in a way your audience auditory can understand.
