Sherlock Holmes I heard that yesterday was Sherlock Homes's birthday. I mean that the first story about him appeared on December 1, 1887. The author was Arthur Conan Doyle, and a name of the novel was "A Study in Scarlet. Although the story was about 150 pages, it only took Dole three weeks to write. I have not read it yet, so I want to choose it when I buy next new novel.

Sherlock Holmes

I heard that yesterday was Sherlock Holmes's birthday. I mean that the first story about him appeared on December 1, 1887.
The author was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and a name of the novel was "A Study in Scarlet". Although the story was about 150 pages, it only took Doyle three weeks to write. I have not read it yet, so I want to choose it when I buy my next new novel.

Apart from the above corrections, the text seems fine to me.
