I Met Him at the Subway Station
I've been working in Shanghai for more than one year.
[Good sentence; small conjugation correction: "I had been working in Shanghai for more than one year."]
It's so lonely that I'm thirsty for any of my friend could be here, too.
[Do not use slang in formal writings: "thristy" is a slang term for extreme desparation. Also be mindful of your verb conjugation: "Living here, I was so lonely and desparate for a friend."]
Hence, he arrived in May.
I borrowed my apartment to him for a month,so he had enough time to get a job.
I borrowed him money for taking the rent.
I helped him for moving house.
I borrowed him my beding.
[Not a good sentence: "When he arrived in May I lent him my apartment so he could take his time and find a job. Then I gave him money to pay for his rent. I also helped him move into the apartment and even gave him bedding for his bed."]
But then I realized that I was utilized.
[Never begin a sentence using "but;" Then I realized that my generosity was being abused by him."]
So I stopped talking with him, and felt so heart-broken.
[Good sentence, minor edit: "I stopped talking to him but felt so heart - broken afterwards."]
Maybe I've lost a friend now, not as good as he wasn't here.
[Not a very good sentence because of the double negative used in the last part of the sentence: "...., not as good as he wasn't here."]
If I were to give you a grade you would receive a generous C+.
