A Caring from A brother
I was standing on the balcony and my mind was wondering wandering. My brother came to me and said, “I had heard that you were seeing someone. how was he What is he like?" (right here it might be better to say "What is he like?" rather than "How was he?" because if you ask "How was he?" it sounds like you are asking about how he was feeling or his emotional state the last time you saw him.)
“We have not met many times. I feel he is weird,” I replied.
“You say he is ‘weird’? The first person coming to my mind is our weird uncle. Just look at how misery miserable his life is. He makes two people live in misery,” he told me. “One of my best friends just got married and they were(do you mean "are" Present Tense or "were" Past Tense) both not happy unhappy. Do not rush in things,” he continued.
My brother got married at a very young age. He always regrets it and tells us do not get married that young like him. as young as him.
Remember, when writing diaologue always separate who is speaking by using this method.
Speaker 1
Speaker 2
Speaker 1
Speaker 2
It makes it less confusing for the reader :)
ALSO, when wring dialogue, be sure to add a comma before using phrases like 'he said' 'I said', etc. For example,
"I want to go to the store," Mom sad.
"I feel he is weird," I said.
Hope this helped! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
