I have some reasons firstly, if a company focus on society's interest, they will get reputation from customer, so can can grow up very steadily. in a contrast, if they just follow individual interest, they don't care about the environment, they will be punished, eventually the customers will boycotted their product. thirdly, everything that we are doing which will satisfy our product, if a business just only concentrate on their consumer, maybe they will affect the others, even cause pollution. and what we pay for restoring the environment is much more expensive than what we pay to prevent in from happening.
