Read, write, listen and speak!

I don't know why, but for me it's so difficult to listen in English. Sometimes I think it's easy when I read a text, but writing is harder. Listening and speaking are the things I practice a bit. How do I make this more easy?

I thought there was a way to listen to news slowly on the Internet, but I haven't found it! Maybe I can start a slow news podcast for English learners.

Also listen to the news, stories & authentic television programmes! True English people do speak fast sometimes! Best of luck.

That's normal, so don't worry! It's like learning how to walk...you start by crawling, then try standing, then walk slowly, even if you fall a few times. I recommend watching or listening to children's programmes on YouTube, internet radio, etc. The language and concepts will be simplier and easier to understand. Also if you are speaking with someone in English, ask them to speak slowly. The reason why you understand reading better than listening is because you control the speed that you read at, but you can't control how quickly someone else speaks. Hope that helps!
