I'm getting forgetful of Kanji.

Due to the improved function of automatic prediction software in PC and mobile phones that converts letters to kanji, I think many Japanese people tend to forget Kanji. It's especially awful for me. There are so many Kanji that I can read but don't write anymore by hand.

Are there similar things for native English speakers? For example: forgeting spellings, verb conjugations, or other things?

I'm good at spelling; however, there are some words that are just tricky to spell, so I forget those sometimes. I have more trouble remembering synonyms. Most people use the same words in conversation, so it's easy to forget words that are similar, but not used as often. スペリングが得意です。面倒くさい単語がありますので、たまにそれを忘れます。意味が似ている単語を思い出すのに苦労する。英会話で、ほとんど人は同じな単語を用いますので、意味が似ている単語を忘れるが簡単です。
