Why did I do this?

Soap operas always take up my whole weekend.
Last weekend, I was going to study English, but at last[1] I was distracted by soap opera[2].
I felt so guilty....

Red are errors, Green are more natural words

[1] at last is not correct. Perhaps 'at the last minute' would be OK.

[2] it is not natural here to say 'soap opera'. It would be better to say 'a soap opera'(if it was one) or 'soap operas' or even 'watching soap opera(s)'.
