I've Got a Cold I've tasted what it's like with a 40°C fever. The day before yesterday I was alone at home. At first I just felt uncomfortable and a little tired so I go to bed very early, probably 7:00pm. Then I started to feel dizzy and my body is burning and I kept waking up in the nightmare. I supposed I must go to the hospital. When I arrived I found I take another jacket and I forgot my money. So I had to walk another mile in the rainy midnight. It's terrible. After my first experience of intravenous drip my fever is gone, but my throat still hurts and I don’t stop coughing. Now it's the peak season for influenza. Please take care, unlike me. Lastly, Happy New Chinese Year! 过年好!

I Caught a Cold

Now I know what it's like to have a 40°C fever. The day before yesterday I was home alone. At first I just felt uncomfortable and a little tired so I went to bed very early, probably 7:00pm. Then I started to feel dizzy and my body felt like it was burning up and I kept waking up from nightmares. I thought<strike> </strike>should go to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital I realized I should have taken another jacket and I forgot my money too. So I had to walk an extra mile in the rain, at midnight. It was terrible.
After my first IV was done, <strike>but</strike> my throat still hurt<strike>s</strike> and I couldn't stop coughing.
It's now the peak season for influenza. Please take care of yourself better than I did
<strike>Lastly, </strike>Happy New Chinese Year!
