Answer to an informal letter about how to spend money

This is the aswer to an informal letter from a friend. He's just passed his exams and got some money from his parents. He is choosing between spending his money on video games or buying some new clothes. My answer is too give him my congratulations and some advice about how to spend his money.

"Dear Alex, 
That's terrific news! I wish I had had the same luck. Why don't you save up some money? I have plenty of video games to lend you and you definitely you need some new clothes. Look at you! You are the weirdest guy in town! You can drop in on the center of the village. There are a lot of shops with cheap prices and the sales are coming the next week. Don't be impatient and wait until the sales. Besides, you are collecting your wage from your parents on Friday, so you'll have more money to spend on clothes. Anyway, if you still want to waste your money on video games, please, give me a ring call me before that. Don't buy something that I already have and you can borrow me you. It would be nice if you get a game so we can play together online.
