”も” is always put just after the word/phrase in the second sentence which is differenct from the first one.
1. Mary went to the park. Takeshi went to the park, too.
メアリーさんはこうえんに行きました。たけしさんもこうえんに行きました。
"も" can be used without "は", or to say, instead of "は".
2. There is a book store over there. There is a restaurant, too.
あそこに本やがあります。(あそこに)レストランもあります。Perfect.
(I don’t have to put あ そこにagain, right? --> Right, you don't have to.)
