Reasons for learning English (CAE essay) It is a well-known fact that having an advanced level of English is an essential request, but there are some necessary steps to get it. The majority of people begin with a basic knowledge where to build their next achievements. How useful is to learn English? Far from being just a hobbie, the most spoken language in the world allows you getting better job opportunities, adding a plus in your CV. Even if you decide to live in your own country, society becomes more cosmopolitan day after day, which means you should be prepared to talk to foreign residents. There is no doubt that going abroad implies knowing the local language, but apart from that, if you want to get promoted, you will need to know a second language. There is a widder variety of opportunities for a novice to stand out in an overpopulated and competitive world, where making a profit has its price. At the same time, you gain confidence and learn expertise when you see how succesful your business is being. This is anyone's aim in life. Another point of view is that English is the lingua franca of all academic articles, books or experiments. The best works are written in English, which are utterly indispensable for students and high qualified professionals. There is no better way to acquire more reliable knowledges and master a skill than searching for this kind of documents. You will automatically get used to it if you make the most of your university sources of information. Professors usually recommend a large number of computerised databases where to look for reviews, books or articles of your every academic work interest. At first sight it may seem difficult to take all in, but it is absolutely worth the effort. Taking everything into account, learning English should not be a load, but a chance to be open-minded and your own boss over time. It will definitely help you to be prepared for the 'real world', which is not easy to face without assuring some extra skills. One of them is within your reach, and almost always, the decisive factor between being hired or unemployed. Thank you :)

Reasons for learning English (CAE essay)

It is a well-known fact that having an advanced level of English is an essential request, but there are some necessary steps to get it. The majority of people begin with a basic knowledge where to build their next achievements. How useful is to learn English?

Far from being just a hobby, the most spoken language in the world facilitates (would be more effective than "allows" in the structure of this sentence) you getting better job opportunities, adding a plus in your CV. Even if you decide to live in your own country, society becomes more cosmopolitan day after day, which means you should be prepared to talk to foreign residents.
There is no doubt that going abroad implies knowing the local language, but apart from that, if you want to get promoted, you will need to know a second language. It will definitely help you to be prepared for the 'real world', which is not easy to face without assuring some extra skills. Thank you :)

I took English language courses to distinguish myself in the highly competitive legal market. Fluency in legal English gave me a distinct advantage. The company paid for the training, but I know not all companies pay tuition and half. But these courses are worthwhile, I would take them at my own expense https://www.cambridgelawstudio.co.uk/online-courses/
