An experience of talking with a foreigner Today,we was having a history class on the sports filed while the foreign teacher in our school was sitting himself alone in a few distance away. It's about 5:00p.m.and the sunshine was so gently.I guessed he was enjoying it.All of us noticed him,and I felt so excited that I couldn't focus on my class, hoping it could over as soon as possible.(I don't know why every time I meet foreigners I always feel so.) Fortunately, our history teacher was unwilling to give a class too.The class was over soon.Honestly speaking,I have been thinking several times how to start a conversation with the foreign teacher. I even dreamed about him.In the dream,I finally made the first step, with encourage filled, having a talk with him.but he was very unfriendly in the dream, which made me feel upset. When I woke up next morning, I was in a bad mood. After all,it's a bad dream, right? Okay, Let's go on to the things that happened in the evening. At that time,I set my mind and was about to head for him alone,to ask if I could have a talk with him when my classmates requested our monitor to invite him to come here and have some games together. And he accepted the invitation. We were sitting in circle,so the monitor asked him to sit in the center. He rejected the proposal because of his shyness. He can't speak Chinese, even a little, and our spoken English is poor as well.So we had language barrier between us so that he couldn't understand the rule of the game we wanted to play with him.Eventually, the monitor and a couple of my classmates and I surrounded him, asking him some questions, for example,we asked him if he could tell us something about his hometown England. But he only told us where was he from, and then said nothing. We had to ask more questions to keep the conversation. But he always answered only one word or as brief as possible. For example, when other student were left.He said yes in response to my question if he wanted to learn Chinese. And I asked further:"so I am wondering if we can make a language exchange. He answered "Maybe".Can I suppose it unlikely that we can make one? And when I was talking with him,he always looked other places, making me feel that he wasn't listening to what I said. Before saying good bye,I said directly I didn't think he was a good talker,he answered he had a headache. At that moment,I understood why he said not much. But I still felt that he was not very friendly, just as what I had dreamed.Do you think so?

An experience of talking to a foreigner

Today, we were having a history class on the sports filed while a foreign teacher of our school was seated alone not so far away.It was about 5:00p.m.and the sunshine was so gentle.I guessed he was enjoying it.All of us noticed him,and I felt so excited that I couldn't focus on my class, hoping it could end as soon as possible.(I don't know why every time I meet foreigners I always feel like that.) Fortunately, our history teacher was unwilling to give a class too.The class was over soon.Honestly speaking,I have been thinking for some time now of how to start a conversation with the foreign teacher. I even dreamed about him.In the dream,I finally made the first step, feeling encouraged to have a talk with him, but he was very unfriendly in the dream, which made me feel upset. When I woke up the next morning, I was in a bad mood. After all,it was a bad dream, right?
