I have a small family. You know, my nuclear family consists of 4 person, my parents, my sister and I, and I'm a first born child in my family. Although I have a samall core family, but due to the fact that my parents came from a quite large family, so I have a huge extended family consist of a tons of uncles, aunts, and cousins. What is prepossessing about my parents family is that my father has just 6 brothers, but on the other hand, my mother has just 4 sisters.

Although I have a small core family, my parents came from quite large families. So I have a huge extended family consisting of tons of uncles, aunts, and cousins. What is interesting/impressive about my parents' families is that my father has six brothers, but on the other hand, my mother has four sisters.

Aren't your parents from two different families? So,it should be FAMILIES. PREPOSSESING is overly complex/academic for this sort of writing. Usually we write out smaller numbers, e.g. SIX instead of 6. Six brothers and four sisters sound like a lot. So I took out JUST. If people in their culture usually have more than that, you can put JUST back in.
