Encontre Inglês Professores
Monica Ingrassia
The most difficult part of learning English (and a foreign language in general) is that there is a big gap between formal and informal language. I downloaded an app to talk with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and there it is easy to me understand and to be understood, but then I wrote a writing assignment at university and my professor told me that I made many mistakes with vocabulary, structure and grammar. The problem is that I'm attending a master's degree in languages and communication and my level should be a C1, but I think that I still am a B2 learner and therefore I have some troubles. Moreover, it is hard to overcome my lack of security when I talk with others, especially when I know that I will be judged.

Oh, you should try to learn Russian :) I think that in general native Russians speakers are more willing to help you if you’re learning their language, but be prepared to receive lots of criticism. It’s a different story with English, I’ve personally discovered that while native English speakers are probably the least judgmental people in the world (everyone “speaks” English now) there are fewer people wanting to put themselves out there to help you improve your language skills. So, don’t despair as long as you keep learning from talking to native English speakers chances are you won’t be judged at all and as they say practice makes perfect :)

That was very well written.
