Hi there, Irish/British dumplings are very different to Chinese-style dumplings. They are not usually stuffed with a filling. They are cooked in the final 20 minutes, in a stew or soup, before serving. They are made with flour, baking powder, suet (beef or vegetarian), and egg or water, depending on the recipe.
