Hello, here period is the punctuation mark. It is usually used at the end when the given sentence is neither a question or an exclamation. Hope this helps you. Cheers:)

Yes, it means "I meant what I said; no further discussion, conditions, etc. are allowed." FYI, in the U.K. they say FULL STOP instead of PERIOD.

It's an interjection used to signal the end of a discussion or to emphasize a point.
