The music industry is apparently declining. I think there is nothing wrong with today's music, people are just very opinionated and add importance to things that probably doesnt need to have a great significance. Instead of making music a competition and a rating, how about we simply enjoy the music? Perhaps, support the artist as well. If an artist is doing great, its okay to rate them, however, to use a rating system to judge and measure their talent is not fair especially when you dont like or prefer their music anyway. Music preference in general is subjective. There is power in numbers so if a large group of people really love one specific artist or song, it is often expected for others to like them as well, even if they really do not like the artist or their music. I do not understand the hype of Pedro Sampaio or like his music but I cannot discredit or judge the people that sincerely love his music. He actually makes many people happy with his music. And there are many artist that do this too. There should be appreciation for all artist and what they give to their fan base and listeners.
