“不以物喜,不以己悲”英语和意大利语该怎样说
不以物喜,不以己悲
大概是说不因为天气或者环境的好坏而或喜或悲 应该时常保持自己内心的平静
it seemingly express that we people should not turn into ectecy or turbulance because of the bad situation and environment, weather something,we should keep a relatively tranquility inside
but how to say it exactly in english and italian,it's a proverb in chinese
or is there a corresponding phase in english and italian?

I think the Chinese proverb could be influenced by Buddhism. In other languages meanings are different. In Italian you say "calma e sangue freddo": calm and cold blood. You use it when you face negative, dangerous or stressful situations. It's not negative.
In English you say that someone is a cold-blooded muderer: that's negative!
In English you can say that someone keeps a "stiff upper lip": it means that he keeps his cool in difficult or embarrassing situations, but it's not so positive, it suggests a certain coldness in someone's character.
I'll keep thinking of other ways to say it...
