What's the meaning of these sayings? I'm interested in the sayings Jeff posted.(http://www.italki.com/notebook/entry/135632.htm) I can understand some of them but am puzzled by the others. Could you explain the following ones for me? Thank you! 1. Passionate kiss, like spider web, leads to undoing of fly. 2. Lady who goes camping must beware of evil intent. 3. Squirrel who runs up woman's leg will not find nuts. 4. Man who leaps off cliff jumps to conclusion. 5. Man who eats many prunes get good run for money. 6. Man who fight with wife all day get no piece at night. 7. Man who stands on toilet is high on pot. 8. Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement.

All of these are "double meanings." Often, words can have more than one meaning. I will explain them, but many of these jokes have a sexual meaning or are "toilet humor." Please do not be offended that I explain them. I think it shows poor taste to post these. 1. Passionate kiss, like spider web, leads to undoing of fly. Fly is another word for the zipper on a pair of pants. 2. Lady who goes camping must beware of evil intent. evil in (the) tent. 3. Squirrel who runs up woman's leg will not find nuts. Nuts is a slang word for testicles. 4. Man who leaps off cliff jumps to conclusion. A conclusion is also an end. If you jump off a cliff, you definitely jump to an end. 5. Man who eats many prunes get good run for money. Prunes will cause you to need to go to the bathroom often (runny stomach). 6. Man who fight with wife all day get no piece at night. "Piece" is a slang word for getting sex. 7. Man who stands on toilet is high on pot. Pot is another word for toilet, and also a slang word for the drug marijuana. High is a slang word for intoxicated. He is elevated on the toilet or intoxicated on marijuana. 8. Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement. If your house was truly made of glass, everybody would be able to watch you undress, so you should change below ground.
