"difference" is a noun. "different" is an adjective. "differ" is a verb. What is the difference between the two apartments that are available? Is there any difference in the price? Are the shirts you bought any different from the ones you already have? Boy, that is a different kind of tea! I have a different viewpoint. Are you going to differ with me?
