About prepositions: on summer nights? in summer nights?
Insects fly into our rooms on/ in summer nights.
To me 'on' and 'in' are both correct and mean the same. I'm not sure if I'm right or there may be some slight difference.
Also, 'at night' is to say the time when the sky is black, it's more general and abstract, for example, We can see stars at night. Am I right?
Thanks!

During/In the summer insects fly into our room at night.
Otherwise "on summer nights" is the correct phrase, but it doesn't really belong in this sentence.

Choosing between "in" and "on" can be confusing. Oftentimes, either is correct. Remember to use "on" for specific dates and days. "In" is used with a moment enclosed in time, like "in spring" or "in 2012" or "in January". "On summer nights" is an open-ended time reference, hence the use of "on". "At" is for precise times, like "at night".

On summer nights is correct. You use 'in or into ' to explain where the insects fly. Example: fly into the house/room/shed/caravan/tent etc
We can see stars at night is correct.
