Heba is your first name? What is your last name? I agree with June that 何 is a commonly used surname in China. Also, when it comes to Chinese names, both pronunciation and meaning shall be taken into consideration. And I think meaning takes priority if needed. Maybe you can choose partly from your last name and partly from your first name to make a Chinese name with a good meaning and also sound good. You are a girl or a boy? (Excusez-moi ^^ I cannot hear your audio) 荷 (he2 lotus) can be used as a girl's first name.

you dont want the sound "ba" to be part of your name, that makes it sound like something you eat or a disease... so "heiba" is a big no no. I suggest that you keep the "He" part and combine it with one of the words below: 莉 makes it 何莉 (he li) 琳 makes it 何琳 (he lin) people can tell that you are a girl when they hear or see these names. My personal favor is 何琳, hope it helps.

If Heba's your name i suggest 荷芭 (荷=lotus and 芭=a fragrant plant) But Ian's right, wait and see what our chinese friends say...

Choosing a Chinese name is extremely difficult. Usually, we have two ways. Transliteration. However, this does not guarantee the meaning is good. This is especially so in sound of the target language. For example, the "hei" sound in Mandarin means "black" 黑 and it can also be used as in the English word "hey". The "ba" sound is like the Chinese 吧, a final particle to indicate the feeling of entreaty, suggestion, command, acknowledgment, doubt, uncertainty or a pause like the ellipsis in English. I am sure you don't want to have someone nickname you to "Hey, blackie" or something like this. Also it sounds like the "pa" of "papa" or even the sound of 怕 (afraid, scare, fear). The character for bliss, joy, etc, 喜 is similar sound to your "hei" (tonal change) but is for Cantonese. Again the problem is the "ba" sound. Therefore all these combinations are not good for a transliteration. The final way is to use the meaning of your name. This usually does not guarantee the sound you like. 天賦 = Tien = Heaven, Fu = bestow ie gift of heaven. So I really don't know.
