Yesterday, we had to translate a simple dialogue and of the sentences was "How is your mother doing?". How I'd say that in russian? I thought about "как твоя мама?", but when I googled it, appeared that so not nice expression (if you know what I mean), so I opted by "Как твоя мама поживает?", but the doubt it's still here...
